The Conference

We would be pleased and honoured to welcome you to the 13th International ECHA Conference on Giftedness across the Lifespan in Münster, Germany. The conference is hosted by the International Centre for the Study of Giftedness (ICBF). We look forward to a stimulating dialogue and challenging discussions focusing on the needs and demands of gifted individuals in the different stages of life (early childhood, school life, professional education). We are certain that the numerous international and highly acclaimed speakers devoted to the research and practice of giftedness have an exciting and diverse programme to offer you.

The 13th ECHA Conference Giftedness across the Lifespan opens with a keynote speech from Prof. Nicholas Colangelo, University of Iowa, USA on Wednesday, 12 September 2012.

In total there will be more than one hundred lectures, symposia and workshops. We expect researchers and students from many diverse countries as well as practitioners, i.e. teachers, psychologists, nursery-school-teachers and interested parents. For more information about our lectures please click here.

Münster ranks amongst one of the most beautiful congress locations in Germany and is deeply steeped in tradition. As a university and Hanseatic town and one of the members of the Historic Highlights of Germany, Münster offers everything that makes a convention successful.

The University of Münster with its historical chateau combined with modern technical standards presents a superb setting in the heart of the city.

Idyllic baroque buildings, modern city life, green oases – there is plenty to discover in Münster.

12-15 September 2012 – We look forward to having you.
